 Due to the time and effort involved in designing and producing each piece, I’m not able to fulfill individual orders for single show dots.   

We generally partner with Boosters and Band Directors to create custom show mementoes that celebrate the entire band’s performance. Please let your Boosters or Band Director know about Show Dots, and that you would like them for your kids.

If school- or booster-funded orders are not an option, I’m also happy to facilitate group orders directly from students and parents if needed. However, these must be organized as a group order so that all band members or the parents have the opportunity to order in one group order.

If a parent or student group is initiating the order, please note that you’ll need to obtain the original show artwork and secure permission to use it, as it is protected by copyright.

 We can absolutely backtrack your band so that all the students have access to their past shows! There are two common ways that bands typically approach backtracking:

1. Staggered Backtracking:
   The band orders this year’s show using booster or school funds and presents the students with their show dots. Once the students see them, they’re usually excited and want to collect all their past shows. At that point, the boosters often coordinate a group order, allowing students and families to purchase previous years’ shows. In this case, the backtrack order is typically funded by families and students.
    
2. Full Backtrack Order Upfront:
   The band orders both this year’s show and all the previous years’ shows in one order, often funded by boosters or school funds.
    

 💡 Bulk Discount: When ordering multiple years of Show Dots, we apply bulk pricing based on the total number of dots across all years. This helps reduce the overall cost of backtracking. 

When bands return to place Show Dots orders, we’ll need to know how many students are new members and how many are returning members.

• New members will receive their Show Dot on a tied, adjustable paracord necklace.
• Returning members will receive their Show Dot on an untied paracord.
  Returning members Show Dot package will include a QR code on the back that links to a short video tutorial. This video shows how to:
•  Add past Show Dots to the necklace.
• How to tie the adjustable sliding knots.
   

This allows students to proudly wear all of their Show Dots on a single necklace!

The only way to add a new Show Dot to last year’s necklace is to cut the paracord—but once it’s cut, it’s usually not long enough to retie the two sliding knots and still fit comfortably over your head.

Plus, after a full year of practices and performances, the paracord tends to get pretty worn out and crusty. Trust us—your students will appreciate having a fresh new paracord each year. We promise!

 Yes, we do offer Show Dots without the necklaces and packaging. These will be $1 less in each of the bulk pricing brackets.

  All Show Dot orders have a 5-piece minimum per design.
These must be the same design—you cannot mix and match different designs to meet the minimum. 

We do offer replacements for lost Show Dots.
Before ordering, please check with your band director, as they may have extras on hand. If not, we’re happy to help with a replacement order for the missing dots.
